About the event
The GFWC Woman’s Club of Macclenny and the Lions Club of Macclenny are proud to present the inaugural Lions and Ladies Stars of Service Gala, a formal black-tie event celebrating the spirit of service, community leadership, and local impact. The gala will take place on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at the North Rail in Sanderson, bringing together citizens from across Baker County for an inspiring evening of recognition, connection, and giving back.
At the heart of the evening are the Stars of Service Awards, honoring exceptional nonprofit organizations that have been nominated by the community for their dedication to improving lives in Baker County. This ceremony will celebrate nonprofits across a wide range of causes—including youth programs, education, healthcare, food security, senior services, and veteran support.
While the event shines a light on all of Baker County’s nonprofits, proceeds will directly benefit the missions of both the GFWC Woman’s Club of Macclenny (www.gfwcmacclenny.org) and the Macclenny Lions Club. While the gala celebrates all the nonprofits working to uplift our county, a portion of the evening’s fundraising will go directly to six local nonprofit organizations with whom the Woman’s Club and the Lions Club work with directly. These groups have been chosen for their meaningful work in areas such as youth programs, education, senior care, veteran services, food assistance, and community health. Their stories will be shared throughout the night to inspire giving and support.
Guests can look forward to an unforgettable night featuring heavy hors d'oeuvres, live music, raffles, a whiskey pull, themed fundraising stations, a silent auction, and plenty of opportunities to make a difference. Attendees will include local leaders, business owners, elected officials, and engaged citizens who believe in the power of community service.
This gala marks a historic collaboration between two of Baker County’s most respected service organizations, coming together for the first time to host a single large-scale celebration in support of those who serve others. Join us for a night of elegance, purpose, and lasting impact.
